This site is a tribute to Sally Lavender, daughter of John and Celia Egan, sister of Mike Egan, mother of Joseph and Samuel and partner of Mark Parkes.

Sally was a much loved French teacher, who used her passion for singing and music to being her lessons and assemblies to life. Sally was a respected member of the Campaign for Real Ale. She was passionate in her promotion of cider and perry, frequently lead tutored tasting sessions at pubs and festivals across the country including The Good Food Show at the NEC, and participated in judging competitions both locally and nationally.

She is much loved and will always be remembered by those who met her, by those who were taught by her, and by those who worked (and drank) with her.
